This story comes in two parts: this first section relates to points award scheme for the players who come first in the weekly MOTM polls.

I thought I would keep it simple:-
3 points if the player won the MOTM 2 Points if the player came second 1 point if the player came third.
This of course relates only to the poll on the Broomfield Stomp and has nothing to do with the award given by the club or match sponsors.

It looks like Marvyn Wilson wins hands down. The most consistent player we have had this season. Late runs in the team by Stephen McKeown and Willie McLaren knocked Kevin Christie out of the top three. Kevin has missed quite a few games this season and this has dented his chances of a higher position.
Will the Player of the year awards to be held on Sunday echo these results or will the Airdrie fans vote differently.
Not long now and we will all find out.
