Willie McLaren seems like he has been with the team forever which shows his longevity and long may he remain. Still eligible for the Young Player of the we at McLaren head quarters feel that Willie is the only choice.

Willie came to us in an explosion of excitement a young starlet on his way to bigger and better things and so it may yet turn out to be.

A work in progress Willie McLaren is still learning his trade, he began the season with a cracked skull and missing a decent pre-season has never really recovered.

In the season and half Willie has been with us he has taken part in 43 games, Only eleven of them have been this season. Only scoring three goals this season has shown Willie and his fans that the youngster still has a lot to learn to be able to compete in the 1st Division. We are sure that after winning the young player of the season Willie McLaren will shine and show any doubters that he is truly a bright and shining Diamond.
