We have had mixed results against East Fife this season, a good 2-1 win in the Bells Challenge Cup and a bad 3-1 loss, both game were at New Bayview.

East Fife visit New Broomfield for the first time this season for the second V third place match, “to the winner go the spoils” or in the case second spot in the Scottish second division.

 

Sandy Stewart has promised to ring the changes after our total inhalation last week against Greenock Morton. Our defensive problems seem to be continuing with Alan McManus having tests for a stomach problem, probably a hernia, possibly putting him out for weeks.

 

So, to the possible squad for Saturday’s game.

It’s strange to think that for the first time this season Airdrie have had to suffer two loses in a row, the first in the Challenge Cup final and last weeks 6-1 loss Versus Greenock.

 

Sandy and the team have to turn this around tomorrow and bounce back in big style, It’s time to fight for the Diamond.

 

Jim Moffat of East Fife comes to Airdrie with the same point of view, East Fife have lost their last two games, keeping them stationary on19 points.
