Airdrie really came out all guns blazing in the second half and within minutes of the restart Dunn had made another impressive foray into the Clyde half, before releasing Docherty down the right. His near post centre was turned past Halliwell in the Clyde goal by Martin Glancy to give us a deserved lead. Unfortunately Glancy was to be roasted by his team mates moments later. Within minutes Clyde had a long range free kick. No one from Airdrie (judging by the direction of Docherty, Stewart and McGowan's anger it was Glancy's job) closed down the free kick taker, and his ferocious drive was only blocked by McGeown and old father time himself, Andy Millen, reacted first to the rebound for the equaliser. About ten minutes later Airdrie conceded the eventual winner when McGowan and McGeown failed to clear and Clyde sub Gilhaney hooked home when it looked like we could have done better. To make matters worse Dunn saw the umpteenth rough tackle coming his way, this time from Millen, and decided to stamp on his opponed two footed. Our best player to that point had to walk. Pity was we looked like we could come back into it, especially with Jerome emerging from the bench.
