Prediction League Match 15 Airdrie 2 - 1 Forfar

Airdrie open up a six point gap between us and our opponents Forfar who sit in the relegation play off spot, a six point game indeed it was and for a change it goes in our favour.

Eddie Malone gave Airdrie the advantage by getting himself sent off after only seventeen minutes, a late high challenge not only ended his day but finished Airdrie's captain Ryan Conroy's day as well.
We all know that Airdrie have always struggled to break down a 10 man defence and the remainder of the first half was as expected, Airdrie had the majority of the ball but just could penetrate the Forfar defence.

It was Forfar who would once again make the early difference in the match, caught by a sucker punch Airdrie went behind to a Dylan Easton goal on 53 minutes. With the lions share of posession once again, it took a Willis Furtado strike from just inside the penalty box to get the game back on level terms. Airdrie took all three points on the 79th minute when Cameron Russel hammered a shot home from the far side.

2-1 to the Diamonds and a welcome three points.
