Airdrie have opened the 2017 - 2018 with a 2 - 1 defeat away to Forfar, goals from David Cox and Mark Millar secured the points for the Loons but Airdrie got a conciliatory goal through Murray Loudon. We all knew this was going to be a tough season and yesterday's defeat has highlighted this even more.

Diamond F16 and Tory Boy share pole position after the first game, as per previous years we have a couple of entrants who have chosen to play for fun but it's not to late to compete for the signed top.
