Before the game, we will be presenting those of you who have really excelled in the campaign…those who really went out their way to help….with a certificate. If you can think of anyone – be it yourselves, or someone you know – who collected a large amount of strips, who fly posted etc….then please let me know. And don’t be shy about putting yourself forwards – there was hundreds of us involved, and there are hundreds of certificates !

We are also delighted that Airdrieonians are also being recognised as an ambassador club with the charity, joining a small and exclusive list. We are delighted about this, and hope to continue our partnership with the charity for many years to come.

To make it a real celebration, we are having a family day, with plenty going on for all. Again there will be an Aces Training session starting at 12.30 and lasting an hour. We are also delighted that the Community Outreach team from Coatbridge Fire Station will be in attendance from 1-2 – complete with a fire engine - with plenty opportunities for the kids to have their pictures taken at the wheel. Entertainer Peter Merlin – who the kids loved at the start of the season – will be back with tricks, magic and general tomfoolery, and there will be the usual array of face painting, crafts, fussball and x-box…..all in the Rowan Suite.

We will also have our usual merchandise stall, and also hope to have a few more stalls from our friends at the Starting Point, with gifts for all, to thank them for their help in the last few months.

Afterwards, anyone and everyone is invited along to show our guests a pub crawl Airdrie style. Meeting in the stadium bar straight after the game, we will then take in those establishments who have supported the Trust in stocking ML6… namely Cue Here, Yesterdays, West End, and the Bowling… to give the KitAid guys a flavour of what we have all achieved amongst the community in recent months. EVERYONE is welcome to this... just pop along.
