Player of the year and hall of fame evening.

Airdrie Supporters trust and Airdrie United Football Club have announced the details of this seasons player of the year and hall of fame night. The Rowan suite of the Excelsiour Stadium has been provisionally reserved for Saturday 17th of April.

Due to the early finish to this season, it's unfortunate that the event cannot be arranged around the usual May bank Holiday, so it was decided to have the event on the Sat with a home game.

Details can be found on the Supporters Trust website.

"Due to the early finish to this season"

No s**t Sherlock....our season has been finished for a long time!

And as for the location...is this a way of saying "we can't fill the town hall" without actually admitting that no one in their right mind will be going?

But they must hold it.It means someone can sit next to the boardmembers.Usually it gets leaked who our outstanding entries to the "hall of fame" are,wouldn2t surprise me if K.Black and Jimmy Boyle were added along with Kenny Brannigan.

give it to the under 19's

Did I just read that bit right? Bill Leckie? For real?

Oh well, according to the other thread, I did read it right.

I'd rather drink cat diarrhoea than have anything to do whith that lowlife pond @#$%&.

Why not go the whole hog and invite George Peat, Blair Nimmo and the disinterred remains of Bill Barr for Christ sakes?

Never mind Bill Leckie, why the Stadium? I thought the Trust moved it from the Tudor so they could make more money, why now use the stadium which is even more expensive?

Why don't we, instead of boycotting this event, use this as our platform to hit Leckie with pelters (literally, if you like) and tell the club what we really feel about how it's being run?

I agree with that Mario. Let's go and tell Leckie how much of a dick he really is.
