Airdrie United boss Kenny Black has paid tribute to former playing colleagues Alan Lawrence and Paul Jack for their help in the Diamond’s under-19 side’s that secured a place in the Quarter Finals of the SFA Youth Cup with a 5-1 defeat of Dundee last weekend
Black said, “I am delighted with the work these guys have put in and that was a great result when you consider our lads are by and large part-time and so far have put out Kilmarnock, Inverness and Dundee as well as Clyde.”
Black praises his chairman for ...................allowing him to continue to keep his position as the least successful, most uninspirational manager in the clubs (incl Airdrieonians FC, Gawd Bless Em) history.
He has now surpassed Gary Mackay, Jackie Stewart & Bill Munro in the f@ckwit stakes in my humble opinion.
Well deserved accolade Kenny Boy!
