The image along with the story is not a copy of the shirts, as we know ARP asked that we change the advertisement on the tops to indicate their and our support of St Andrews Hospice. As the shirts were already manufactured and ready for release Airdrie, ARP and Surridge Sports thought it would be simple enough just to cover the ARP logo with a St Andrews Hospice logo.
As we know it didn't work and as soon as the club discovered the problem the tops were removed from sale and refunds given to those who had already bought them.
Well now the tops are being released but slightly different and it's quite a nice compromise. ARP are maintaining the shirt advertising on the front and the St Andrews Hospice logo has been stitched in to the rear collar panel.
So for those who are interested
Replicas. £ 38 Adult and £25 Kids
Black travel polo shirts £ 20
Red & white run out tops £ 18 I bought one of these on Sunday and was told "They are very forgiving" (what ever that means) it's the red and white training tops the players have.
All of the above will be on sale on Sat and available online very soon.
