The Scottish Football Leagues Alba Challenge Cup Semi final draw was made today at Hampden. Airdrie, Greenock Morton, Partick Thistle and Ross County have all made it this far and all aspire to make it to the finals and the televised match on Scotlands newest television chanel Alba TV. (Only available on Sky at the moment)!
Airdrie have been drawn against Partick Thistle away.
Full Draw
Partick Thistle -v- Airdrie United
Ross County -v- Morton
Matches will be played on Sunday 12th of October

treat the game against thistle as a final cause playing ross county at perth in a final wld be uninspiring as a game
Would have made a brilliant final...
But we must not make Thistle our final game!
We can take Morton or County!

I hoep we dont end up in a final with Ross County how bad would that be?

I dont want county in the final if were lucky enough to make it, for the simple fact it'll be in perth. Although i think the other venue will almost definately be Broadwood if county aint in the final so not the most exciting of venues whatever way the semi's go.
If it's Morton in the final chances are it will be played in Maryhill......!?
Dammit, Janet! I was hoping for Thistle in tHe final too, if only to noise up my Jags fan mate when we beat them!

That's the tie I wanted. We're looking good Away in cups. Partick have been too - but this time they'll be at home.

Good one! Only trouble is that he doesn't work beside me any more.
