Airdrie Help Gretna

Airdrie have confirmed the dates of our upcoming cup games, usually the cup games are kept to Tuesday nights but the opportunity has been taken to help out a fellow club.

After the draw for the Challenge cup was made, Gretna FC approached  the club and ask us to reschedule the match, after discussions it was decided that the switch to a Wednesday night would be acceptable.

An insider at the club said "by approaching the club in the correct manner we were more than happy to accommodate Gretna, their schedule is going to be hard and a one day switch to a Wednesday, can easily be done."

The switch will give Gretna an extra day to recover after playing in Europe on the previous Thursday and their League game has been moved to the Sunday, giving them, potentially, 3 important games in 6 days.

Challenge Cup

Gretna  home         Wednesday 16th   7.45pm

CIS Cup

Raith Rovers away  Tuesday 8th  7.45pm

Season tickets are not valid for the Challenge Cup match
