Conference North high-flyers Nuneaton Borough are the visitors to Hilton Park on Saturday afternoon, coming up against a resurgent RMI side. Despite RMI's winless run in the league still continuing, Andy Nelson's young side showed tremendous character to come back from 3-1 down to draw 3-3 at fellow strugglers Hyde United last weekend, while Tuesday night's low-key 1-0 victory over Colne in the Lancashire Challenge Cup will have provided a timely confidence boost ahead of Saturday's big test.

While Nuneaton are currently riding high in the Conference in third place after their 3-2 home victory over Vauxhall Motors last week, they will be more than wary of the fact that they haven't got a particularly good record at Hilton Park, with RMI running out 6-2 victors on one of the occasions that the sides met in Conference National.

It's also worth mentioning that after they play RMI, they have an FA Trophy tie at Farsley Celtic next weekend before a massive game against Histon in the Second Round of the FA Cup. The prospect of any number of Premiership clubs visiting Manor Park could well prove to be a distraction for Boro, and it is one that Andy Nelson must try to tap in to as much as possible.

Because of a pre-booked function in the Mick Martyn Bar on Saturday, the Tommy Sale Stand will be out of action, with everybody being accomadated for on the Hilton Stand (Leigh East) side of the ground on Saturday, with the Kegwatch Suite open for alcoholic refreshments and food still available on that side of the ground. Let's hope for a good atmosphere and that it doesn't rain, "get yer flags out" and cheer on the Leythers!
