Stevo scores - again!

Flame-haired former Leigh RMI striker Steve Jones continued his hot goal-scoring streak this afternoon when the Northern Ireland international star scored yet another goal for First Division side Crewe Alexandra. Stevo, as he is still affectionately known at Hilton Park, scored the only goal as the Alex defeated First Division nomads and strugglers Wimbledon in a 1-0 victory at Gresty Road.

It was Jones' 14th goal of a prolific season that has seen him top Crewe's goalscoring charts, despite hot competition from the likes of England Youth international Dean Ashton and the highly rated Kenny Lunt.
