Tomorrow's visitors to Hilton Park may have been in the Football League ten years ago, but they since disbanded and reformed and have now climbed back to the top echelon of English non-league football, and their journey seems to be ending there either. The Shots are fourth in the Conference, despite this being only their first season in the English top flight of non league football.

Their rise to the top five is eerily reminiscient of when RMI first entered the Conference in the 2000/2001 season, when the Railwaymen finished suprisingly high in the table, qualifying for the LDV Vans Trophy after finishing in a highly credible fifth position.

RMI boss Mark Patterson has rubbished rumours about his future, though he will be hoping to take some of the pressure off his shoulders with at least a point from the Hilton Park encounter as the Leythers look to bounce back from last weekend's 4-0 mauling at the hands of Stevenage Borough.

Patterson has no injury worries and his only selection problem is because former Chester City defender Martyn Lancaster is serving the second game of his three match suspension after getting sent off in the 3-1 defeat against Gravesend & Northfleet last month.

Aldershot have doubts goalkeeper Nikki Bull, who has an ankle problem, and striker Roscoe D'Sane, who has a calf strain.
