Woodyatt transfer in doubt

Lee Woodyatt's protracted loan transfer to Leigh RMI from Conference rivals Chester City is in doubt after another club came in with an eleventh hour offer.

It had looked likely that Woodyatt would sign on the dotted line at Hilton Park on a three month loan deal and RMI manager Mark Patterson admitted as much yesterday.

However, Chester have now received an offer from Welsh Premiership club Total Network Solutions to take Bangor-born full back Woodyatt on loan. Chester may find this offer more appealing as he then won't be going to a Conference rival.
