Leigh RMI travel to the East Midlands to take on the Brewers of Burton Albion in a vital Conference game. RMI manager Mark Patterson is desperate to win to earn points towards Conference safety and also to gain his first three points as manager.

RMI must desperately win as they need to start picking up points urgently as they fight to prevent relegation back to the Unibond Premier Division, three years after Steve Waywell guided RMI out of the same league.

Leigh player manager Mark Patterson, still in search of his first victory since stepping into the Hilton Park hotseat, is sweating on the fitness of four star players.

Former Burnley defender Gerry Harrison has a knee injury as has former Oldham Athletic midfielder Phil Salt. Tunisian striker Dino Maamria is doubtful with a hamstring injury and goalkeeper Stuart Coburn, who has been in fantastic form this season since signing from Altrincham last summer, is also rated a doubt with a shoulder injury.

However, Patterson has his bases covered and new signings Chris Dawson, Gavin Bates and Daniel Bent could all make their debuts at Eton Park.

Seychelles international defender Dawson, formerly with Bolton Wanderers, could step in for Harrison. Former Preston goalkeeper Bates could step in for Coburn if required and loan signing Bent could start up front if fellow former Doncaster player Maamria isn't fit to start.

England semi professional defender Neil Durkin should return from suspension along with former Altrincham midfielder Ged Kielty. Both served one match bans during the FA Trophy defeat to Vauxhall Motors on Tuesday evening.
