Kat's off to the Premier League!

The Premier League's gain is Leigh Genesis' loss as physiotherapist Kathyrn Wise leaves the club after two years at Leigh to concentrate on her commitments with Premier League-bound Blackpool.

Wise has been a popular figure at the club amongst players and fans alike, performing miracles to juggle a full-time job in the NHS with turning up at every Genesis home game, away game and training session to make sure the Leigh side are in tip-top condition.

"Naturally I will continue to follow Leigh and would like to pass on my thanks to all of the board, players and to the fans".

"I've thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the club and wish everyone all of the best for the future".

Kat leaves Leigh with the best wishes of everyone at the club, with new Genesis boss Mark Maddox hopeful of appointing a new physio in due course.

Think she'll be working mainly with the academy mate but no doubt she'll have an increased workload with their promotion. At least Kat isn't going to Chorley!
