Crilly Park is situated in the Hag Fold area of Atherton, close to the A579 Bolton Road and adjacent to the Wigan-Manchester railway line.

There is a small car park on the site of the ground, while there is also a large car park situated at Atherton railway station which is approximately a ten minute walk from Crilly Park.

Atherton railway station is served by regular trains from Southport, Wigan Wallgate and Manchester Victoria, while the regular 582 bus service from Leigh to Bolton runs close to the ground.

If travelling by bus from Leigh, you need to get off the bus close to Car Bank Street shortly after Atherton town centre, close to the  Lion public house. Walk down Car Bank Street until you reach Greendale on your right hand side. Walk to the bottom of this street and underneath the railway bridge and Crilly Park is immediately in front of you. You can also follow this route from Atherton train station if you come straight out of the station to the main road and turn right. Alternatively, you can turn right when leaving the station and walk along Upton Road, turning left at Springfield Road. Turn left on to Hillside Avenue and Crilly Park will quickly appear on your left hand side.

If travelling by car from Leigh, follow the A579 Atherleigh Way to the Gadbury Fold roundabout, turning right on to the A577 Wigan Road. At the next roundabout close to the BP garage, go straight ahead on to Gloucester Street, passing Atherton fire station and police station passing the large football field on your left hand side and immediately turning left in to Formby Avenue. Keep following Formby Avenue until it becomes Fletcher Avenue as you drive underneath the railway bridge. Turn right on to Spa Road and follow the road round until Crilly Park appears on your right hand side.

If travelling via the motorway, the closest junction is junction four of the M61. Leave the M61 at junction four and bear left, taking the third exit off the next roundabout on to the A6. Follow the A6 to the next set of traffic lights before turning left on to Newbrook Road (opposite Hulton Arms). Follow this road down the hill until you go over a railway bridge, turning right in to Upton Road at the next set of traffic lights to go past Atherton train station on your right hand side. Take the third left in to Springfield Road and then left on to Hillside Avenue and Crilly Park will quickly appear on your left hand side.
