Ashton Athletic game postponed

This evening's Lancashire FA Co-Operative Challenge Trophy Second Round tie away to Ashton Athletic has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

After heavy rain in recent days, the Brocstedes Park pitch failed an inspection this afternoon.

A new date will be confirmed as soon as possible.

I thought something was amiss when waiting outside the Waterside for twenty minutes and knowbody turned up, and checking my phone and realising Matt had text me saying the game was off three hours previously, another classic caper from Mr Plumhead.
