Salford game postponed

After Salford City gained an impressive 2-2 draw away to Blue Square North outfit Hyde United in the FA Cup Second Qualifying Round, Leigh’s game away to Salford on Saturday (10th October) has been postponed. Hyde and Salford will have to replay their tie at Salford’s Moor Lane ground on Saturday, and as such Leigh’s league fixture on that day will have to be rescheduled.

Because of the short notice in the cancellation of this fixture, no new fixture will be arranged for this date. A new date for the trip to Salford will be confirmed in due course.

Was always going to happen, let's be honest!

Means our next league game isn't until 20th October when we are away at Clitheroe.

Agree Matt. Did'nt have any doubt that we would'nt be playing this Saturday. I have a back up plan anyway.

Anyone who may be short of something to do and likes a proper pint the Bolton Beer Festival is on at Bolton Rugby Club

It'd be rude not to.
