The draw has been made for the First Round of the UniBond League President’s Cup, a knock-out competition for those clubs who play in the UniBond League First Division North and South.

Leigh Genesis have been handed an away tie against Stockport-based league rivals Woodley Sports in a fixture that is to be played the week commencing 12th October 2009. It will give Leigh fans an opportunity to see former striker Gavin Salmon once again, who is currently in his second season with Woodley.

The following Saturday, Leigh are in cup action again when they travel to the Midlands to face Atherstone Town in the FA Trophy First Qualifying Round.
