Former Macclesfield Town defender who joined Leigh Genesis in the summer of 2009 and appearing as a substitute in the pre-season fixture against neighbours Wigan Athletic.

Ross made his full Leigh Genesis debut at right back in a 1-0 defeat away to Warrington Town in the FA Cup Preliminary Round on Friday 28th August 2009.

His league debut arrived in a 3-2 win over Warrington Town at Chorley's Victory Park on Tuesday 1st September 2009.

Ross had to wait until 27th March 2010 before claiming his first goal for the club, scoring Leigh's first goal in a 5-0 thumping of Garforth Town.

After completing the 2009/2010 season with Leigh, Ross left the club in May 2010 to join former manager Garry Flitcroft at league rivals Chorley.
