With the Leigh Sports Village Stadium Company citing on-going problems with the undersoil heating at the new stadium, Radcliffe Borough have once again stepped in to provide a venue for a Leigh 'home' fixture, this time the UniBond Premier League game against Cammell Laird on Saturday.
It is the third time this season that Radcliffe's Stainton Park home will be 'mini Leigh' for the day, having previously hosted a league fixture against Frickley and, ironically, a Lancashire FA Trophy tie against Radcliffe Borough.
Fingers crossed that the club will be able to take up residency in the Sports Village as soon as possible and end our tour of the North West.
Kick off on Saturday (10th January) is at 3pm at Stainton Park.
