LGSA Next Meeting

The next meeting of the Leigh Genesis Supporters Association takes place tomorrow evening (Wednesday 12th November) at Abbey Street Labour Club (situated on Abbey Street, between Leigh Road and the Avenue) in Leigh, with the meeting beginning at 7:30pm.
The main focus of the meeting will be to determine ways of raising funds to go towards the operation of the football club, whilst also sorting out which voluntary roles need to be fulfilled at upcoming home games.
Please attend the meeting if at all possible and help out your club.

Would just like to put my apologies on here as I'm currently unable to attend the meeting tomorrow because of a family matter and, with Tony Marshall nursing a severe case of man flu, we shall be leaving you in the very capable hands of Dave Bailey to referee proceedings.

Big thanks to all that attended tonight, particularly Mary, James and Lee Merricks.
I think, personally, the biggest thing I took from the meeting is that, with general running costs covered for the season, our main focus as supporters is to now raise as much money as possible to put out as good a side as we can afford.
We now have a focus as to what any fundraising will be put towards and hopefully we can move things forward from here on in.
Obviously, there are a lot of roles to be fulfilled now that were previously covered by the full-time staff so there will be a list online soon enough which hopefully people can 'tick themselves off' so to speak if they feel that they have the skills to cover a certain role.

yep im nt sure if mary took that home but we should have a copy on the computers so i shall (ask first) set up a spread sheet that we cud put online sumwhere if pos or i wil post a list up and fil in the spreadsheet at HQ.
