In the wake of the arrival at Hilton Park of Sean O'Neil from Bamber Bridge and Mark Smyth from Bangor City, Leigh strikers Mark Jackson and Gary Williams have both left the club in search of first team opportunities elsewhere after falling behind in Steve Bleasdale's pecking order.
It has been reported that Williams has joined North West Counties League side Colne after making five appearances in what was his third spell at Hilton Park, while Jackson has joined Unibond League side Chorley after scoring one goal in twelve games this season, coming in the 4-1 FA Cup defeat at Harrogate Railway, although he hadn't made an appearance since the departure of previous manager Stuart Humphreys.
We wish both players the very best of luck with their new clubs.
