Well I'm A Welsh Supporter - The latest offering from resident message board poet Exile. He's branched out into songs for this offering!

Instead of the usual poem I thought I'd do a song, sadly to a tune that no one will know

It's an old rebel tune from the american civil war called "I'm a good old rebel" only time I've heard it on TV was in the film where the Carridine boys player the Youngers and the Keach boys play the James' (The Long Riders?) anyway just a bit of fun coz I'm bored

Oh I'm a welsh supporter, now that's just what I am
and for the men in blazers, I do not give a damn,
Mike ruddock brought us vict'ry, the grand slam it was won
but they don't give a monkey's, for all that he has done.

I hate the men in blazers and everything they do,
they lie and think their clever, but don't fool me or you.
I hate our rugby union they've never done no good,
I think that they should all resign, I really wish they would.

There's rumours it's the players, and it was all their shout,
but blazers hold the power, of this I have no doubt,
A carrot for Scott Johnson, but what if he should go?
Then who' they gonna turn to? I must say I don't know.

They like to take our money, the game to them we trust,
we turn up in tens of thousands, but still they lie to us,
why can't they just be open, and tell us what is what,
that's all that we are asking, now that is not a lot.

I wish I had a musket, I'd put 'em against a wall,
and I'd drop one of the ********, each time we dropped the ball
a high price for a sport you say but one I'd gladly pay,
and they have TV's in prison, so I could watch Wales play
