Kezman is once again a target

Albion once again are showing interest is Mateja Kezman. Last summer Albion had an offer accepted for the Serb but turned down the chance to move to Albion due to the club not being big enough. But who could blame him? Chelsea were hot on his heals and off to Stamford bridge he went. A year later Albion have achieved the status of being a ‘premiership team’ after avoiding the drop in the return year to England’s top league.

Kezman had a disappointing first season at Chelsea and with Jose Mourinho wanting to take the Champions League away from Liverpool it Kezman’s Chelsea future looks grim.

Kezman was limited to 6 league starts last season and this amount looks less for next season if he stays with the champions as Chelsea seem to be ready to buy another striker.

It is clear that Albion have needed a prolific goal scorer over the last few season and when Kezman was at PSV before his move to Chelsea he notched a massive 105 goals in just 4 seasons.
