Albion have rejected an offer to up-root and move to a new stadium two miles from The Hawthorns. The Hawthorns is placed on a prime business spot being on the Birmingham/Sandwell border and a new hotel will be put in place of the stadium if Albion had of accepted the proposal Johnathon Fuller (Albions Operation Director) highlighted the importance of extending the Hawthorns rather than just up-rooting to a new stadium.

"The redevelopment of The Hawthorns is one of the key areas we're discussing. We've looked at several possibilities - including a visit to a site near Hill Top - but we have no plans to move from our present location.

"We've had long-standing plans to redevelop the Halfords Lane Stand and this is still very much on our agenda." Fuller said.
