Albion Fail To Sign Huszti

Albion have failed there late attempt to sign Hungarian International Szabolcs Huszti. It was said that Albion had offered 1.5 million for the player who scored 2 against Scotland in Hungary’s 3-0 win last month. It was believed that Huszti would of helped fellow Hungarian Zoltan Gera settle in at the Albion.

Hutzsi commented on his ambition to play in England at some stage in his career.

”I wouldn't deny that I'm not interested in this possibility," Huszti told Hungarian daily Nemzeti Sport.

"I will only concentrate on the future. I'm a professional, so as long as I'm contracted to Ferencvaros, I have to do my best at my present club.

"If I succeed, then I hope to get the chance to sign in England."

Hutzsi’s contract runs out in June 2005 so a January transfer to the Albion could well be on the cards so that his club Ferencvaros manage to get a fee for the 21 year old.
