BBC Wales Sport today claim that the talks broke down on Saturday (28th Aug) night after discussing terms since the morning.

It is unknown if the Baggies will try to continue talks with Earnshaw over the next couple of days. We will keep you posted of any news regarding Earnshaw.

Meanwhile, Albion target Aruna Dindane has walked out on Anderlecht after the club rejected Albions improved £5m offer.

"The Ivorian was absent for today's training, for the second day in a row. And it seems like he won't show up for the match against AA Ghent either.

Aruna wants to leave Anderlecht. He wants to move to England, where he can earn a wage that is 3 times as big as in Brussels. Yesterday he left the stadium very angry, before the training. Today he didn't show up, so he is unlawful absent. Anderlecht gives the striker now 24 hours to show up, otherwise he will receive a serious fine, which is determined in his contract."
