New Poll: Who will be the Premiership strugglers of 2010/11?

By Jemma Tappenden

It goes without saying that the Premiership new boys automatically become the bookies favourite for an immediate return to the Championship. But the 2009/10 season saw 2 out of 3 of the promoted sides retain their Premier League status. Plus, is the 2nd season any easier? Certainly not for Hull City. So this week WBA Baggies World asks you...Who will be the Premiership strugglers of 2010/11?

Everyone is going to say Blackpool lol.

IMO i think there will be about 6 or 7 teams that will be down around the relegation zone all season

Newcastle (They have got the same team that got them relegated before, too good for the Championship & not quite good enough for the prem with the current crop)

West Brom (See Newcastle)

Blackpool i can see them doing a Burnley

West Ham They are in debt & trying to lure new plays in on stupid wages (Could be the next Pompey)

Bolton They are alwayas a team who struggle but survive.

Wigan Same as Bolton.

Wolves We survived last season playing a 541. Only scored 13 goals at home all season (Luckily it was a weak premier league) This season it will be stronger & we need to play 2 up front & get the midfield to attack. Hope to score more goals.

I don't know what 3 will fill the relegation spots but those 7 with the odd 1 or 2 suprises will possibly fill the bottom 7 spots.

Good points Daz. Can't really argue with any of that to be honest.

Interesting that in the poll more people think Wolves will struggle than Albion...despite their recent Premiership history and their newly promoted status. Interesting.

Wishful thinking rather than realism maybe?

It is because people are thingking Logically than hopeful.

I'm happy Mick has kept us up but in all honestly i still don't rate him as a manager & unless he has a plan B & C we will go down next season. All well & Good Morgan making these new stadium plans (Which look great) but we need to still be in the prem for the next few years & i'm sorry to say Mick won't keep us there. Im sure a lot of the Albion Fans feel the same due to Peace not giving the Manager money to strenghten their squad to keep them up

Yet they're not voting for their own side to struggle....

Most of them want to stay up & see Wolves go down. Same as a lot of Wolves fans want the opposite

I know lol. Which is exactly why I said yesterday wishful thinking instead of realism! And I don't want the Baggies to go down.

Neither do i. I think this season will be great having our 1st Black Country derby in the Prem. Long may it continue as long as we take 6 points (Sm151)

Pah - can't see that happening. Although not being the Premiership new boys might put us not as the under dog for a change, but it means jack.

In many ways I think I'm more worried about this season than the last. The second season is no easier, in some ways it's harder. Hull City...I remember a time when Ipswich finished 5th in their first season then got relegated the following year. That being said we never got off to a flyer like either of those mentioned sides. We were kind of slow and steady - so who knows? Unpredictable I'm sure, and the fact that West Brom are more odds on for the drop than us means nowt.

Yes, poor poor girl. Condemned to a life of Wolves supporting lol. You'll have her betting on the Gi Gi's before she's 5 lol.

You'd best get showing her pictures of Tony so that she recognises him to say Baggies boo when he walks in on saturday lol.
