Baggies learn that Moses has £5 million price tag

Albion boss Roberto Di Matteo has made no secret of that fact that he's interested in capturing Crystal Palace and England Under-19 striker Victor Moses. But with club chairman Jeremy Peace pulling the purse strings this January, the news that the youngster comes with a £5 million price tag may price the Baggies out of a deal.

The Baggies have no shortage of strike power, but with long term casualty Ishmael Miller still on the recovery path, and Roman Bednar seemingly out of favour in the present climate, Di Matteo may well look to bolster his front line this January ready for the run in to May and final promotion push.

But Moses is attracting interest from several clubs, including Premier League outfit Manchester City, and with Palace under increasing pressure to sell to ease their ever increasing financial burden, the 19 year old striker looks set to be on his way from Selhurst Park during the transfer window.

The players agent, Tony Finnigan has today warned potential buyers that the youngster is worth at least £5 million.
