West Brom midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu has been awarded with a new two year contract at the Hawthorns. The 22 year old who spent a period on loan with the Baggies last season signed a permanent deal over the summer from Paris St Germain, and his impressive start to the season has prompted the club into extending his contract.

The two year deal comes with the option of a third year.  The midfielder scored his first goal for the Baggies during the 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town last weekend.
