West Brom striker Craig Beattie has completed his move to Swansea City for an initial fee of £500,000. The fee is a club record for Swansea City who will also pay out a further £300,000 dependent upon contract clauses. The Swans have also agreed to a 20% sell on clause. Albion paid £1 million for the striker back in 2007.

The details of the move were finalised yesterday, with Beattie making his move to the Liberty Stadium in time to face Watford - Swansea City's next home fixture this afternoon.

The Beattie deal breaks the clubs previous transfer record of £400,000 for Nathan Dyer and Ashley Williams.
