Hull City v West Brom: Match Preview

Baggies boss Tony Mowbray is hoping that a win at the KC Stadium later today will kick start Albion's season and Premiership survival hopes. A win for Albion would see them move to within just 3 points of Phil Brown's men, currently in 10th place. The last league meeting saw Hull pick up all three points at the Hawthorns back in October, with a 3-0 victory.

Since that win Hull have picked up just seven points from 14 games.  But a win for them tomorrow would see them move 9 points in front of Mowbray's men, who currently sit in bottom place with 21 points.

West Brom continue to suffer with numerous injury problems, mostly in defence where Jonas Olsson and Leon Barnett are ruled out.  Abdoulaye Meite will face a late fitness test to see whether he can take a place on the subs bench, whilst Pele and Ryan Donk are likely to start despite both suffering with groin problems.

Hull City's new recruit Jimmy Bullard is likely to make his first start for the club.  But striker Daniel Cousin has only a half chance of featuring as he struggles to overcome a recent knee injury.
