It's three points for Albion, and a third successive home Premiership win. So where the goals came from won't keep Tony Mowbray awake at night. But new boy Marc-Antoine Fortune is adamant that Albion's second goal yesterday is his, despite Robert Koren being at the centre of goal celebrations.
Koren fired in the shot which led to Albion's second goal, but it took a deflection off the heels of Fortune on the way in.
Koren immediately celebrated the goal, with the BBC website and Sky attributing the goal to the midfielder. But the official West Brom website and the BBC's Match of the day gave the goal as Fortune's.
But the players are in no dispute whatsoever as to who should claim the goal. "I'm claiming the goal" Fortune told the official website, and Robert Koren has agreed that he is happy for the striker to claim a debut goal.
Koren bagged the Baggies third goal in the 67th minute, and his happy for both himself and Fortune to have their names on the score sheet.
