Mowbray boosted by comeback of injured duo

Tony Mowbray will be glad of the news that two of his players returning from injury are fit and available for selection ahead of tomorrow’s clash with Liverpool at Anfield. Both Andre Filipe Teixeira and James Morrison will be available tomorrow, after recovering from their injuries in time to be named in Mowbray’s squad.

Morrison retired from last Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Blackburn Rovers in the 68th minute, after a back injury forced him to call time on his involvement.  But Morrison rejoined his team mates in full training midweek, and is expected to have made a full recovery, and be in contention for a starting place for tomorrow’s big clash.

Teixeria on the other hand is returning after a much longer absence.  He hasn’t featured for his side since March, but after recovering from his serious knee injury and overcoming the niggling calf strain which has plagued him since.  He has now completed 4 full days of training, and could feature for Albion tomorrow afternoon.  However Mowbray may well wait on what to do with Teixeria, he won’t be taking any gambles.
