Skipper rallies his troops ahead of Arsenal clash

Baggies skipper Jonathan Greening has issued a stark rallying call to his team mates ahead of tomorrows clash with Arsenal. The Baggies kick off their Premiership at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow at 12.45pm, but Greening has warned Albion that there will be no room for admiration of the London side as the new season gets under way.

Greening has stated that Mowbray's men need not show Arsenal too much respect on the day, and that anyone is beatable on the right day with the right amount of hard work and effort.

The Captain will quite rightly tell his team tomorrow that they didn't win the Championship last season by being a bad team, and that their belief in themselves as a squad is something that needs to continue forward into this new season.

Greening will also use recent results against Arsenal, notably the 1-1 draw at Highbury in 2004 and the 2-1 victory at the Hawthorns in 2005, as inspiration.

Greening summed up by commenting that when it came down to it, it's just 11 versus 11 over 90 minutes on the day, and that he intends to motivate his players to believe that even world class players on high budget wages are beatable.
