Baggies to take on Real Mallorca in friendly

Tony Mowbray's men will face their final test before the kick off of the 2008/09 Premiership season at home to Real Mallorca. The game will kick off at 3pm on Saturday 9th August - the exact time and date of the start of the football league campaign. It promises to be a high scoring game, Albion finishing last campaign as the Championships highest scorers, netting 109 goals.

Their La Liga competitors also finished highest scorers of their league last term.

The fixture will complete a finely tuned pre-season which kicks off with a tour in Europe, during which they will face two German sides.  The Baggies will then return to England to face a number of English sides with friendlies confirmed against Shrewsbury, Cheltenham, Ipswich, Northampton, Hereford, Walsall.

jem im not picking faults here but alb**n only scored 88 in the championship and mallorca only scored 69 with 4 other teams scoring more with real madrid scoring 84.sorry about picking this up but im very bored and if im wrong then please correct me and i will also let you win on the post last thread.
