Baggies to take on German Giants in pre season

West Bromwich Albion announced yesterday that they will travel to Europe for a pre season tour during which they will take on German giants Borussia Moenchengladbach. Mowbray's men will take a seven day tour of Holland, during which they will cross the border into Germany twice. The Tour which will take place mid July should complete the Baggies preparation for the new season.

The fixture versus Borussia will kick off at 5.30pm (BST) on Wednesday July 16th.  Borussia are five times German Champions, and won promotion back to top flight football like Albion at the end of this season with a 6 point advantage at the top of Bundesliga 2.  Bourissa have also won the UEFA Cup twice.

Albion will also take on FC Koln, who finished the season in 3rd place of Bundesliga 2, sealing their third promotion in ten years.  That fixture will take place on Saturday 19th July, with a kick off time and venue yet to be announced.

The fixture versus Borussia will take place at Hubert Houben Stadium in Goch.
