Baggies fans have been left fuming this afternoon after it has been revealed by bosses at West Bromwich Albion that the club do not intend to plan an open top bus civic reception for fans despite claiming the title of Champions on Sunday. In stark contrast the divisions second placed side Stoke City have a big reception planned for this evening to celebrate their promotion.

Stoke City claim that they wanted to thank their fans for their support by plannning the event which will take place tonight in celebration of their long awaited return to the top flight.

But depsite claiming their first title in 88 years, Sandwell Council have indeed confirmed that the club have notified them saying they did not want anything planned.

Fans of West Brom have been left heartbroken, as they wanted to celebrate alongside their team and see the lift the trophy.  The council have said that they are happy to go along with any plans should the club change its mind.
