France: "We play it a lot on strategy."

Fresh from his front row starting slot, Toyota's Jarno Trulli feels today’s race will be all about strategy. Last years French Grand Prix was won by a four-stop strategy by Ferrari's Michael Schumacher, and Jarno isn't discounting any repeat performances.

The Italian is optimistic that his team has picked the right strategy for this race: "We had a great qualifying and we can have a great race I think," Trulli said. "We will have a better idea on what fuel everyone has used when the race starts. The race here is a lot like a game and we play it a lot on strategy."

 

Jarno has also stated that unlike last year, he will defend his position right up until the chequered flag after being overtaken on the second to last corner at last years French Grand Prix by Rubens Barrichello, which cost him a podium position. "I consider last year an experience,” said a smiling Jarno Trulli.
