Rainy Days at Silverstone

Toyota, along with BAR, Renault, Ferrari, McLaren, Williams, Jordan and Red Bull were due to test at Great Britain's Silverstone circuit today. Ten minutes after the action started, the British weather kicked in!

After the English members of the Totally Toyota F1 team had dusted off their sun lotion at the beginning of the week, the weather decided to take a turn for the worst as some cars began to roll out of the garage in Northamptonshire.

BAR, Renault and Toyota decided to skip testing at the track which will hold the British GP in July. This will save them another day in their 30-day test agreement.

The rest of the teams, and of course Ferrari, who have said no to the gentlemen's agreement from the off, put their bollies up, and braved it out.

Toyota's day has not been totally ruined however, with them and fellow Japanese manufacturer Honda testing at Monza. The BAR and Toyota test teams worked in temperatures of around 30 degrees at the Itaian track.
