Normally in Hollywood, 007 takes on the world and wins with only a few seconds to spare, before theres a big bang and the rocket launcher aiming for the sun explodes into a big ball of fire. Sadly for B.A.R, the rocket launcher blacked out their championship!
Honda’s enemy Toyota has been enjoying their run of bad luck, outscoring their Japanese rival’s at every race so far this season. But now, B.A.R Honda have tried mission impossible with their own 007 – Button, Jenson Button. But not everything has gone according to plan, and unlike Hollywood, the master has been captured, almost sentenced to death but has got off lightly as his ‘licence to kill’ has been taken away for only 30 days. So if this were Hollywood, the sexy lady that Bond always gets would have been killed and the world would have exploded and you would have never read this report. But this is no action movie, and for the first time in how many years the B.A.R Honda team have been thrown out of this weekends Spanish Grand Prix and the Monaco Grand Prix two weeks after.
So half of Japan will be as depressive as a broken hearted man, whereas the other half will be walking around with one big, fat smile on their faces. Panasonic Toyota Racing is becoming of age this season and after being laughed at, spat at, and laughed at again, they are now the leading Japanese team, which is one half of the battle over. But I expect B.A.R Honda to come out fighting, and if Hollywood is anything to go by, the action has only just begun!
