Pedro de la Rosa continued to show his excellent form of late on Day 2 at Barcelona. he set the fastest lap of the day, a 1m14.391.

Toyota's Ricardo Zonta was seconds, setting a time of 1m14.596, just over a tenth off de la Rosa's time. Brazilian ace Zonta completed 23 laps less that McLaren's Pedro.

Alonso was just under 7 tenths off PdlR's pace on Wednesday, setting a 1m14.946, and a total of 118 laps.

Alexander Wurz could not match his team-mate's time, putting McLaren's second car in the 4th fastest slot, setting a respectable 1m15.178

Heidfeld, Pizzonia and Fisichella set the 5th, 6th and 7th fastest lap respectively for Williams and Renault.

B.A.R's recent problems continued, with Anthony setting the 8th fastest time, over a second slower that de la Rosa's lap, despite completing the most laps of them all.

Gene couldn't bring anything special from his car, landing in between davidson and Button. Marc set a 1m15.737 and was the only Bridgestone runner of the day. Jenson was exactly 6 tenths off Marc's pace.

DC was the only RB representative, as Red Bull Racing replace Klien with liuzzi, we can be sure to see more of them during the tests. DC set a 1m16.385, completing 111 laps.

Olivier Panis came in 12th, a disappointing almost-3 seconds off the pace. He only managed to complete 47 laps as his car ground to a halt. The Frenchman set a 1m17.173.

Jacques Villeneuve has had to face up to the naked truth (rather appropriate) as once again, he struggled to get to grips with the C24, he set a disappointing 1m18.096 in 74 laps.
