Toyota's 4th season in F1, and finally a podium! Jarno Trulli kept cool to bring his TF105 home where he qualified, in the runner-up spot. Critics had blasted Jarno for slipping back in Australia from the same grid slot, but today, he showed what he's worth.
"I had a great start" Trulli told. "I drove my race, was quite competitive and was following Fernando. I was managing the car and the tyres and just aimed to finish the race in second. It's fantastic to bring the first podium finish home for Toyota. We were quite comfortable on reliability even in these tough conditions. Our engine people have done a great job over the winter."
Ralf also did a good job, ensuring he finished some 20 seconds ahead of Coulthard in his RBR.
Toyota are now second in the constructors, 14 points behind Renault, and a point ahead of Red Bull.
