Toyota continued their pre-Monaco test programme at Paul Ricard in France yesterday, and reportedly the weather was slightly better. Olivier Panis continues to be the sole representative for Toyota despite post Austria reports that the team were planning to use all three of their drivers.
No detail of Toyota's test programme this week has yet been released, but for yesterdays session the attending teams were joined by Renault. The big news of the day was the first public appearance of the new McLaren challenger in the hands of test driver Alex Wurz.
Olivier Panis completed 68 laps and recorded a 5th fastest time out of the 7 drivers present. Testing continues today (Thursday).
