Brazilian in Seat Two?

F1 Live reports that the favourite for seat number two at Toyota for 2003 is Felipe Massa. It has been long thought that Toyota are after a Brazilian to fit in with their marketing strategy in the Americas.

There have been a number of names mentioned in connection with seat two and currently Filipe has 20% of the vote on this sites poll.  Jos Verstappen's name is again mentioned in dispatches, however the team are looking for a younger image (Even though Olivier Panis is one of the oldest drivers on the grid!)

Antonio Pizzonia was another favourite.  However talks have broken down with the Team.

Felipe Massa is therefore likely to be in the seat and the one most likely one to get the job, however the team also have their eye on Jacques Villeneuve, although they are going to need a bottomless wallet in order to temp him away from British American Racing.
