The future is bright for the Centurions, as has been proved this evening with the Leigh Under 18 again winning in the Junior Super League, though this evening it was no ordinary victory. Lloyd Pugsley's lads, only promoted to the Junior Super League for this season and only part time unlike many of their opponents, went to Orrell this evening to face deadly local rivals Wigan Warriors and their famed youth system.

Wigan have one of the finest youth systems in the game according to the television pundits but that didn't seem to be the case as the Centurions Under 18's team defied the odds and pulled out a magnificent 16-14 victory at the home of their great rivals.

I'm sure I'm not alone in saying I hope such scorelines are transplanted to the first team set-up in the next couple of years, well done lads!
